Eventually I'll make it pretty again - once I finish adding 100% of the Andromeda's Parameters. The old -pretty-gui looked like this ( ) before my HDD crashed and I lost the source code. It's nice to have everything in-front of you. I know my GUI is kind of ugly at the moment - but once you get used to it - it causes a mentality shift when programming patches. In other news - I just released a new version of my Alesis Andromeda A6 Editor! Now it has parameter randomization functionality :) Still, there's many improvements to make - and I'm always making them - and if anyone has any specific feature requests, I'm always happy to add them. Or so I'm told - I don't have a Mac, sorry! Many people successfully use it (and my Eventide H8000 Controller) on MacOS with no issues. I thought I was clear on the page ( ) by saying it's only supported on macOs via WineBottler - which is a program to run Windows Programs on MacOS. simply a case of plugging the mains into the Andromedas universal PSU, finding the Main outputs, and then trying a few patches. I never advertised it as ~natively~ supported on macOs.

I bought it as it was advertised as compatible with Mac. My Alesis Andromeda A6 Editor also supports renaming patches, and or saving them to any location you want on your Andromeda. I don't know if it's a problem with my Andromeda specifically, or something else. It also supports uploading SysEx back to the Andromeda - but it's experimental, and whenever I go to load the uploaded patches on my Andromeda - it freezes. My Alesis Andromeda A6 Editor allows downloading of entire mix banks, individual patches, etc, as SysEx. I only really want it for backing up my user banks to PC, renaming patches on PC, then uploading back to the A6. I need to protect my source of income, and reputation. It's also protected with some anti-reverse-engineering technology - which some anti-viruses dislike because then they cant analyze the code. A library of patches for the Alesis Andromeda A6.
